FAQs

• What are Club+ Dollars?

  When you shop in-store or online at New World and Four Square* the Club+ Dollars you score as a Club+ member are loaded onto your account, and able to be spent whenever you like^.  No minimum spend, tricky points to calculate or waiting to earn vouchers, just score and spend as you go.  

   

  As a Club+ member, you’ll score Club+ Dollars on all qualifying purchases when you shop at New World or Four Square, both in-store or online. 

    

  You can choose where to spend your Club+ Dollars, using them as full or partial payment to save on your groceries. 1 Club+ Dollar is equivalent in value to 1 New Zealand Dollar (1 Club+ Dollar = $1 NZD) when used at New World, PAK’nSAVE or Four Square stores, or by shopping online at New World or PAK’nSAVE. Club+ Dollars are unable to be used on Four Square NOW! purchases.   

   

  When you join Club+, you’ll set a PIN to keep your Club+ Dollars secure, which you’ll use when spending them in-store.  

   

  You have the choice of scoring either Club+ Dollars or Airpoints™ as your rewards and can change your choice at any time. Just log in to your Club+ account here or in the app and select Change Rewards.  Or if you prefer, call our friendly Customer Service team on 0800 80 70 70 for help.

• Where do I find my digital Club+ card?

  With access to your Club+ account across multiple apps, it’s easy to enjoy seamless convenience and flexibility. You can find your digital Club+ card in: 

  • The Club+ app
  • The New World app
  • Or the PAK’nSAVE app

   

  You can open your digital barcode by tapping on ‘Scan Club+’ at the bottom of the home screen. 

   

  No matter where you choose to shop, you’ll be ready to scan at New World, PAK’nSAVE, Four Square, and partners like Z and Caltex, every time you shop! 

• What does 'qualifying purchase' mean?

  A qualifying purchase is a purchase at New World, PAK’nSAVE or Four Square that enables you to earn Club+ rewards (either Club+ Dollars or Club+ Fuel Discounts).  Spend on some products will not qualify as explained below.   

     

  Club+ Dollars   

  A qualifying purchase is a purchase at New World or Four Square that enables you to earn Club+ Dollars. You cannot earn Club+ Dollars at PAK’nSAVE.   

     

  Spend on some products will not qualify including Christmas Club deposits, Gift cards and prepaid debit cards, travel card and phone top-ups, tobacco and other smoking products, NZ Lotteries tickets, fuel, and most fees.

  Club+ Fuel Discounts   

  A qualifying purchase is a purchase of $1 or more at New World, PAK’nSAVE or Four Square that enables you earn Club+ Fuel Discounts.   

     

  Spend on some products will not qualify including Christmas Club deposits, Gift cards and prepaid debit cards, travel card and phone top-ups, tobacco and other smoking products, NZ Lotteries tickets, fuel, and most fees.

• Is there a minimum spend for me to score Club+ Dollars or a fuel discount?

  You will score Club+ Dollars on any eligible purchase at New World and Four Square. There is no minimum spend but some products are excluded from scoring Club+ Dollars, like gift cards, fuel, Lotto, delivery fees, tobacco and smoking products.  You can see a full list of exclusions here. 

   

  To score a Club+ fuel discount there is a minimum spend of $1 in a single transaction at New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square. Some products are excluded from scoring a fuel discount, like gift cards, tobacco and smoking products, Lotto, travel card or Phone top-up cards. You can see a full list of exclusions here.  

• Four Square Scan to Win Terms and Conditions 

   Promoter 

  1. Foodstuffs (N.Z.) Limited (Foodstuffs) is the promoter of the Four Square Scan to Win Promotion (Promotion). 

   

  1. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to these terms and conditions. 

  Promotion Period  

  1. The Promotion runs from 15 June 2026 to 12 July 2026 (Promotion Period).

   

  1. There are four separate prize draws throughout the Promotion Period, as detailed in clauses 6 and 10 below. 

  How to enter  

  1. You will receive one entry in the draw when you make an eligible purchase (excluding spend on gift cards, prepaid debit cards, travel card top ups, phone card top ups, tobacco and smoking products, New Zealand Lotteries tickets, service and bag fees, and purchases paid for through charge accounts or purchases intended for wholesale or resale) during the Promotion Period and scan your Club+ card instore at the time of payment, or make an online purchase through Four Square NOW! (Eligible Purchase) at all Four Square stores nationwide or Four Square NOW! (Participating Stores). 

   

  1. You will receive one entry into the draw each time you make an Eligible Purchase in a separate transaction. 

   

  1. When you make an Eligible Purchase you will automatically be entered into the draw.  

  Prizes 

  1. There are 33,000 prizes to be won in total across the full duration of the Promotion Period (with a total value of $250,000 NZD worth of Club+ Dollars) broken down as follows: 

     1. 20,000 x 5 Club+ Dollars 
     2. 9,000 x 10 Club+ Dollars 

  1. 4,000 x 15 Club+ Dollars 

   

  (each, a Prize).  

   

  1. Prizes are evenly divided across the Promotion Period, with the following Prizes available to be won at the end of each week (as detailed in clause 10) during the Promotion Period: 

     1. 5,000 x 5 Club+ Dollars 
     2. 2,250 x 10 Club+ Dollars 
     3. 1,000 x 15 Club+ Dollars 

   

  1. Please note that this means at the time you enter the Promotion some Prizes may have already been won.  

  Eligibility to enter and to win a Prize 

  1. To be eligible to enter this competition and win a Prize:

   

  1. you must have made an Eligible Purchase from a Participating Store;

   

  1. you must be a current Club+ member; 

   

  1. you must be a New Zealand resident; 

   

  1. you must consent to Foodstuffs using your name, photo, hometown and image for publicity and promotional purposes (including the display of your name in store) and you must make yourself available for publicity photographs relating to the competition on request for no additional compensation. 

   

  1. Entries which in the reasonable opinion of Foodstuffs: 

   

  1. are received outside the Promotion Period;

   

  1. contain defamatory, offensive or inappropriate content or infringe intellectual property rights;

   

  1. are incomplete or indecipherable; or 

   

  1. do not otherwise comply with these Terms and Conditions, 

   

  will be invalid and ineligible for any prize.  

   

  How winners will be selected 

  1. The prize winners will be drawn by Foodstuffs (or its agent) by random electronic selection on the Prize Draw Date from all eligible entries received during the preceding week as detailed below:

  Notifying winners 

  1. Winners will be notified by Foodstuffs within 3 working days of each draw being completed via the contact details on record for the Club+ used to enter the competition. 

   

  1. Each Prize will be automatically loaded to each winners Club+ account. 

   

  Prize conditions 

  1. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or negotiable and are not redeemable for cash. 

   

  1. The prize draw results are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  Verifying compliance with these terms 

  1. Foodstuffs reserves the right to verify the identity of any entrant (including an entrant's identity, age, city/town of residence and place of employment) and to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a prize where false or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. 

  Exclusion of liability 

  1. Subject to any applicable laws which cannot be excluded, Foodstuffs, any Participating Store, and their respective employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature incurred or suffered by any person (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this competition or with winning, redeeming or benefiting from the prize.

  Disputes 

  1. In the event of a dispute concerning any aspect of the promotion the decision of Foodstuffs and its agents will be final. No correspondence concerning any decision made by Foodstuffs or its agents will be entered into.

  Additional terms  

  1. In addition to these terms and conditions, Club+ Terms & Conditions will also apply. 

   

  1. Foodstuffs reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate this Promotion or these terms and conditions at any time.

   

  1. Foodstuffs reserves the right to substitute a Prize in whole (or in part) with a substitute prize of equal or greater value. 

   

  1. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or negotiable and are not redeemable for cash.

   

  Privacy  

   

  1. All entries remain the property of Foodstuffs.  Your personal information may be used to conduct this competition and for future promotional and publicity purposes in relation to this competition.  By entering this competition, you consent to the use of your personal information for these purposes. Foodstuffs Supermarkets Privacy Policy will apply to all personal information that we collect from you.
