Kerry & Sally-Anne Tull welcome you to Cheviot Four Square. The Cheviot Four Square is a busy modern store that is locally owned, managed and staffed. We have a vast range of fresh meats, fruit, vegetables, and deli products, and we stock a number of the major grocery brands. Whether you just need a few bits and pieces, or if you need to do a full grocery shop – we have got you covered! We look forward to seeing you in-store soon.
New Owner/Operators – Kerry, Sal, Issy and Fletcher Tull became the new owners of the Cheviot Four Square in October 2016. They are born and raised North Canterbury locals, having made the move from Rangiora to Cheviot in September 2016. A qualified butcher, Kerry spent the last 6 years working at Rangiora New World, most recently in the Fresh Foods Manager role. Sal had a banking and administration background before stopping work to raise the children. They are looking forward to improving what is already a great supermarket for the locals and tourists alike.
Cheviot Four Square Supermarket caters for all your grocery needs. We stock a wide range of grocery brands and gourmet products, plus fresh produce and an extensive range of chilled wines and beer. We also carry a smaller range of haberdashery, toys, gifts, stationery and hardware.
We are the only grocery store between Amberley and Kaikoura and are open seven days a week, including most public holidays and extended hours during the summer months.

Four Square Cheviot supports The Cheviot Hills Ride
New Owners Kerry and Sally-Anne Tull sponsored their first local event on the 23rd of October, The Cheviot Hills Ride. Kerry being a keen mountain biker was excited to both help the Lions who run the event and compete in his new “backyard”. The event was won by New Zealand’s own International MTB star Anton Cooper as he made his return to competitions following sickness. The day was well run by the local Loins and it was great to see a large number of Cheviot businesses get behind such a great organisation.
Maddie's Duathalon was a success!
Cheviot area school pupil Madeleine Haugh (orange vest) completed a very successful project at the end of the 2016 school year. This included Maddie and another pupil organising a school Duathalon. During the organising of the event they looked to seek sponsorship. This is when Maddie approached the local Four Square and Kerry and Sal were keen to help. We understand the event was very well run and have enjoyed the thanks from the community for our help. Thanks Maddie on helping us get involved in the community and congratulation’s on running your first event. Mum would have been proud Maddie!
